Vision

Enhance the planning culture increasing the Italian presence in the Planning Planet (PP) community promoting our national identity.

Mission

As any other country Italy has its own peculiarities, its own strengths and weaknesses. The PP Consul Italia will have to enhance the contribution that Italy can give at the overall PP community, focusing on the different background that planners experienced on working in the Italian pattern can provide. Different ideas, experiences and ways of working will have to feed into the PP community and vice versa. The Italian community, promoting its own identity, will become an integral and harmonious part of the PP community.

Action Plan and Targets

• Create and maintain a network of contact with recruitment agencies and major companies with an interest in project / program management, planning and controls.
• Develop link with academies, centre of research and Universities in order to disseminate the PP knowledge.
• Supporting master degree tuitions with lectures and up to date materials to enhance the consideration of the planning and controls discipline and to keep the institution informed with the latest tools and techniques.
• Facilitate work related international mobility from and to Italy.
• Acting as a focal point of contact for the Italian community.
• Assisting the accreditation process.
• Promote Planning Planet at every opportunity.
• Expand both corporate and individual membership in the region.
