Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi, We have a contract where there is an accepted programme which shows the planned completion and a completion date. Due to a compensation event no 1 the planned completion and completion date has been extended by 2 days. Due to good weather progress has been ahead of schedule on site but now another CE has raised which will effect the critical path. As the planned completion is now 2 days ahead of schedule, ie what it was prior to CE 1, is the contractor entitled to claim the 2 days delay costs (preliminaries) that has already been implemented in CE1. In effect claiming the same 2 days twice? If this is the case does the completion date move out by a further 2 days as well? Many thanks
