Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I just posted a new blog article: “The Value Breakdown Structure (VBS): What, How and Why?” You can find it here.

In my last few articles about aligning the benefits and value of programs with projects, I mentioned the VBS as a tool for ensuring such alignment. But a few people asked me if I could explain just what a VBS is. So in this article I explore the topic a bit, including a small VBS diagram.

I am also thinking about exploring the topic further in upcoming blog articles, so I included a short poll at the end, just asking if readers prefer the “how to” articles or the more “philosophical” discussions. If you read the article, I would appreciate your using the poll to give me guidance.

Fraternally in project management,
