Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

PRINCE - does anybody actually use it successfully?

Perhaps this is a little controversial, but I will ask anyway.

These days there are many books, websites, training courses and so called practitioners of the PRINCE method. However, I have never heard of a project being successfully run using the PRINCE methods.

My question is therefore, PRINCE - does anybody actually use it successfully? Can anybody give us some details of a specific project it was used on that had a sparkling successful outcome?

Gary,

Not sure if this helps but look at the following link:

http://www.prince2.org.uk/Web/Site/ValueAddedProducts/Case-Studies.asp

Also The BestPractice Showcase is an excellent event where organisations provide overviews of where they have successfully implemented best practice (which includes Prince2).

Cheers,
