Hello

Recently moved to high level planning in Months & Quarter duration. Scary as I have come from Hourly Planning!!

I remember from P3 traning years ago that you can create a Global Change, probably with a Text Field Column to show Days into Months? Something like :

Original Duration / 30 = No of Months

Can someone tell me the Global Change Data should run in P6 please?

Thanks

Laura

Hi Laura,

Try to provide separate 2 Text Column outside or beside OD column containing "Days" copied from OD & "Months" from there you formulate it using Global Change from Original Duration/30 and you'll see the result.

OD- Original Duration.

Thanks.

Thanks Raymund for your amazingly quick response.

I did do that one too.

You think away to show 2 columns? Months & Days?

Laura,

Global Change is not needed to show durations into Months.

Go to User Preferences... Time Units... Durations Format.. set Unit of Time to Months

Hope this will help.
