-Now ,what type of progress I have to choice (physical or unit or or or...)
what type of duration to choice
how to do the update every week and where to store the historic (is it in doing many baslines???-every week)
How to update the progress ,is it on updating the ressource units....
How to do the weights...

to store historic data you may consider using financial peridos. You can create a batch of weekly financial periods in a few clicks with the latest releases. Regarding tho other questions, these coices are stricly dependent on the specific project you are managing.
