Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Multiple Coloured Summary Bar

I have 35 Development projects which I want to show as single summary lines with each of the 5 phases on each project shown in a different colour and a single bar label shown on each summarised phase - to date I have achieved this by creating bars and filters for each phase - with the exception of summary bars showing where each activity starts and ends and I only want one solid bar, Also I cannot get the bar label to be on only the summary bar - it is on each of the activities below. Is there a way of doing this in P6 ?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tom

Hi Tom,
Do the same as you define bar every Phases on Summary bar by filter but instead remaining use current on timescale then under Bar setting tab tick "Show bar for grouping bands" and also assign label on this summary, and remove all labels assigned on other bars defined.
