Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

When we summarize projects in P6, what are the changes to happens to the project.

Since when i put summarize projects in P6 , it gives "summarization of data for project sucessful" but i am not able to notice any changes....

Can anyone guide me.

Haresh,
Summary function is to summaries project information on Project Modules and Tracking modules. Once the Projects had been summarized, updated information will be published whether the projects are open or not. In Tracking module summary level are defines on Project Window-> Settings tab-> Summarized data-> Summarized to WBS level (i.e. 2) You already raised this queries of why Projects at Tracking Module are only expanding/collapsing to 2 branches. All information on this summaries are updated when summarized function has been run otherwise all closed project will show old information based on the last summarization.
