Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

You can back-up entire SQL Database.

Run SQL Server Management Studio Express and Back-up
PMSB$PRIMAVERA.
Then You can restore DB on another Computer.
You can use all saved layout.

Hi Ruel,

Did you export your .XER file from P6? If not, you need to perform this prior to locate your .xer file to your hard drive. Then you can zip afterwards.

To export your .xer file, open first the project and go to menu File --> Export --> Export Type, Primavera PM/MM-(XER) then next, in File Name: Locate the .xer file in your hard drive.

HTH.

Regards,

Arnold
