Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have imported a new project (XER file format) into P6 (release 6.0) but all the activity codes are at Global level. I share my database with other projects and we now have a massive amount of activity codes at Global level. In future, how can import a project and ensure that the activity codes are at EPS level and not Global?

Dear Minaar,
you have the ability to NOT IMPORT the activity codes but you cannot change them from global to EPS or project specific codes while importing.
you have to change them from global to EPS or project either before exporting from source or after importing to destination.
ofcourse, it is better to do it after importing not to affect other projects.
