Hi, old post, but I want share with you a free solution I found to manage leave and time-off for some emplyees or a lot of employees, the solution is a software web-based, it's called offdays.eu , I manage leave employees with it and I enjoy it!

Previously,



I worked in a construction company with more than 20,000 ++ employee.



They did not use Primavera P3, P5 or other planning software to manage annual leave.



they were able to manage seamlessly.



The secrets:



Hire low paid clerks from third world countries.

I think a good idea for Primavera is to include the power to edit resource calenders via the timsheets module.

Hi



We only manage holiday/leave more than 3 days and 2 weeks in advance. Because, if it is within the next 2 weeks, it will be not worth it to change the entire plan.



With Paul recommendation, we cannot apply to it simply because our HR department is very lazy, they only record leave in the Past not the future. Because they said it will be too much maintenance work if the leave application is withdrawn/modify etc...

One at a time with a lot of effort. Some companies set up a link to their HR module but this takes a bit of effort and funds.
