Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear all,

What is the correct name of new Primavera release?

1 - Primavera Project Planner for the Enterprise v.5.0 (P3e v.5.0);
2 - Primavera v.5.0 (P5); or
3 - Primavera Engeneering and Construction v.5.0.

Hi there,

If I am not mistaken, now they calling it as Primavera 5.0.

It also categorized into different industries e.g. Primavera 5.0 for Engineering & Construction.

PM is the client server application for scheduling.The only change is new version (5.0 - SP1) with more features.How is it different in packaging comparing ver 4.1. Please help ?

I think you’ll find that it’s just "Primavera". It happens to be Version 5 which is why it’s often also called Primavera 5 or P5.

Primavera is a suite developed to meet specific roles, it’s not the new version of what used to be called P3e v4.1 as a client server model. That product now forms part of the role called Planner/Scheduler.

Best way to understand this is to contact either your local Primavera Representative or Primavera.
