Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Does anybody know if Progress Spotlight actually exists within P3e? There is mention of it in the Help section, though try as I might, I can’t locate the item in the menus.
Failing that, is there a way to update / progress / actualise a number of activities as in P3?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the help. Tried Apply Actuals, and seemed to work ok.

As David mentions, "Progress Spotlight" functionality will be available in forthcoming version 5. However, most of the functionality to status activities automatically as if they are progressing as planned is available in your current version.

Take a look at the feature "Apply Actuals." For activities, you wish to have actuals (starts, finishes, units & costs) automatically applied, you need to check autocompute actuals for each activity and also for each resource.

You can actualy use the curtain facility as a spotlight, it does not automatically filter out all activities in the curtain, you have to do this manualy.

go to:- view / attachments / curtain

Hope this helps
