Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Friends,,

I have made a copy of the existing updated project to make the revision, I have revised this updated program , in doing so I have imported the resources data from the DBF file. I now want to make a copy of this program , but I am unabel to do so , a message pops up saying " PROJECT EXCLUSIVELY LOCKED", can anyone reply me how to solve this problem.

There are 2 ways to solve the "project exclusively locked" problem:

 

1.  Run Project Fix from your program menu.  (PFXW.exe)

2.  Open Windows explorer and go to your project directory.  Find the file or files named "????.LOC".  (???? being project name)

Try to delete those files.  If you can't delete them, create a "Trash" folder and move them into there.
