Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

iam new comer to plannig planet , myproblem is how to install Primavear p3 software and is there any use if i learn SAP Stratagic Enterprises Management(SEM) basically iam CIVIL Engineer ,it will be use full for civil engineers or not

You do not need to know about SAP to use Primavera.

Hi Rehman,

It is the reponsibility of your compnay IT persons to install the P3 software.The decision to go for p3 must depend on the requirement of your contract it usually states about the software to be used and you have to go for that if it is your choice then p3 is one of the best choice.


Regarding your second question, P3 is excellent project control tool and it is very useful to civil engineers.
