Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Here is a notice to all P3 users: Service Pack 3 is out and available from Primavera Inc., if you have a current service agreement. The download is 5 MB long.

P3 SP3 FIXES FOR KNOWN ISSUES

The following known issues in P3 3.1 have been fixed in Service Pack 3:
1. Wrong relationship when you draw a relationship with the pitchfork
after renumbering an activity ID.
2. Saving a Global change with temporary variables that access WBS
changes the Temp variable name to have periods.
3. Inconsistency between resource tabular report and profile.
4. Changing activity ID to an ID that already exists moves the
relationships.
5. Insert resource assignment multiplies the Budgeted Quantity by 100.
6. Resource loading report incorrectly spreading designated resources
after storing period performance.
7. BCWS calculation is inconsistent between spreads and columns/reports.
8. Printing to a PDF file errors.
