Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Wondering about basic manpower loading reference info?  Also, P6 manpower loading output looks dated, any copy and paste from P6 into excel Templates out there?

Please be reminded that activity duration is usually a function of crew composition, production rate and volume of work.  It is not enough to know crew composition only.

The following RS Means crews can do the same type of work as they share similar skills but their production rates will be quite different. Your crew selection will depend on many factors such as; equipment owned vs rental, available space, volume of work, noise considerations, crew(s) available and crew skills resource leveling among others.

As P6 lacks the functionality to link activity duration to crew composition, production rate and volume of work you will have to figure it out how to store these values in your P6 templates.
