Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

I imported a layout and used that on two projects, but its working on one of the projects and not on other.

I'm not able to use custom column like other and while rearrangement its not showing the imported items.

thanks,

if you have codes in that layout it will only work with the project that the codes were created in.

If your layout uses activity codes or UDF fields then it will not work because they are referencing field ID's from a different database that wont exist in the destination database. You will have to rebuild this part of the layout manually.
