Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello All Planners.

Please have a look at following example;

I added a Material Resource Named "Crushed Aggregates" in my schedule.I have changed resource type to "Material" and adjusted the price per unit.No the unit of measure that i want to keep is "Cu.m".The issues that i am facing are,

1- I am not able to find an option to make my resourse loading a "spread loading" i.e, I want to tell primavera tha 1000 C.m of crush is required for a certain activity in 2 weeks.The only way i find is assigning price per unit and then if i assign this esource to the activity,then it multiplies the price per unit with the duration,that i do not want.

I want to give my resuorse a certain price and qty that should be spread on total duration of activity.

I hope my question is clear.Like in primavera Risk analysis there is option of "spread loading " and "point loading".

If not then how you assign material resource to your activities.please guide.

Thanks

Hi,

Manually edit the Budget Units on the assigned resource.
