Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

All,

What are your thoughts and opinions when the construction / target / short term programmes develop from a workable tool to reporting tool.

When faced with constant variations / changes when does a programme merely become a tracking tool.

Rescheduling Procedure (thoughts and opinions);

  • Do you prefer to monitor and issue progress reports as jagged lines (for clarity) - however the dates are now void.
  • Rescheduling with the end date (constrained) to identify negative float. Or do you constraint the end date with a deadline constraint to identify the true slip.
  • Issuing rescheduled programmes to sub-contractors.

Many thanks
