Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

HI, I'm new on this site and don't even know how to use the site adequately yet. Therefore, if this is not the right place to ask these questions, please forgive me. I stumbled on this site in my desperate quest for help on the use of p6. I'm a newbie on p6 and need help with some basic things such as the following:

 

  1. How do I enter values for actual duration on p6?
  2. How do I enter values for actual cost on p6?
  3. How do I calculate for earned value on p6?
  4. How do I plot an s-curve on p6?
  5. How do I determine how much free float there should be between activities
  6. How do I control total float through out the entire project?

I could use some help and would be very grateful to get any.
