Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

HI,

IF I CREATE AN ACTIVITY CODE BY CHOOSING ’PROJECT’,HOW CAN I TRANSFER THIS LEVEL OF ACTIVITY CODES TO ANOTHER PROJECT.
NB: WHEN I CHOOSE MAKE GLOBAL,IT IS DELETED ALL THE ACTIVITY OF THE PROJECT ITSELF.
YOUR COOPERATION IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

THANKS

Hi Roger,

Okey, here is the best way to do. Open the two projects. The project defined with activity codes and the other one project without the activity codes.

Go to Enterprise --> Activity Codes, Project radio button and select modify. Now, select all activity codes you want to copy & right click paste it to EPS/Project:

Regards,

Arnold

Hi Roger,

The other workaround on how to transfer or copy the Activity Codes by copying the project and in the "Copy Project Options" remove the check next to Activities.

Or you can use the SDK and Parser & Builder from Primavera Knowledgebase.

Hi Roger

In powerproject you can copy / paste anything between projects.

Best regards

ps try not to use block capitals - it seems as though you are shouting at us - Charleston got into a big argument on this subject.
