Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Any of you lot had any experience with 4D CAD.

Is it worth the effort, is it just a gimmick, is there any real value added to a project by using it ?

I tried to use it once, but the problem is that the one who do planning is usually a civil engineer who is familiar with 2D, but to be able to connect scheduling to 3D, he has to know how to use 3D.

In my opinion, it is a toy for the client. As the client want to see the progress of the works in a verrrrrrrrrrry simple way.
