Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Some may not consider this a planning question but

Does any one have a giude on how much rubbish is produced in fitting out a shop unit per meter square?

The back gorund to the question is that I am working on a retail development project in the UK and soon we will be allowing the shop fitters (not our contractors)onto site to fit out their units. Our Client has asked us to give him a lump sum price for managing these works. The bigest risk on this will be establishing how many skips etc will be required for waste removal.

John...

What you can do is pass on the risk. I understand that some/most of the big waste contractors will price on a project basis the waste/rubish removal. They install compactors and make regular collections and even supply labour if required if the project is big enough.
