Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi guys,

Can reading a project management book be considered for claiming PDU’s?

I have purchased and read Paul harris’s P6 book last year. So, can this be considered under category 2SDL - Self-directed learning.

And if yes, 1 hour of reading = how many PDU’s?

Please guide...

Dear Ravi,

I guess if the educational institution giving you the self-directed training and the training itself is approved by the certifying institution (eg PMI,AACE), then you can claim PDU’s.

I have found that I do not need any PDU’s for GCE Carpentry O level.

The most practical qualification I ever gained.
