Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Earned value columns based on physical progress

Hi, My activities' % Complete Type is set to "Physical".  I enter physical progress of the activities, however the earned values do not change. If i enter duration progress e.g remaining duraiton or labor hours, the earned value change.  My question is, the earned value columns are not linked with physical progress, even if Complete Type is physical?  Thanks

no they ar enot linked what you can do is creat a global chnage where the duration % complete is equal to the physical % complete.

Here is how

got to tools

global change

on the right select new

Where Physcial % is not equal to 0

Then 

Duration % Complete  =    Physical % Complete

 

on the right select Change

then on the bottom right select Commit Changes
