Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I would like to know what is the criteria for creating resources in terms of maximum units per time. If I set a resource for 1h/d it means that I am going to load it based on manhours required for the activity (Not sure if this method is correct or not). If I set the resource for 8h/d then I should load it against actual man-days required for the activity. My question is, which is the correct method? Or if both are wrong what is the correct one.

Thanks in advance !

if you are working 8 hours per day set it to 8 if you are working 1 hour per day set it to 1.

Then in for each activity add the resource and the number of manhours for each activity why manhours becasu emost estimates are based on manhours not mandays. So if you have 16 manhours that would be 2 men 16/8=2
