Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

in My project most of the WBS do not show schedule % complete, but in that WBS, All activities are showing SChedule% complete as well as Performance % complete ?

What Could be the possible reason ?

Please suggest.

schedule % complete is based on work not costs. The schedule % Complete specifies how much of the activity's baseline duration has been completed so far. Computation is based on where the current data date falls between the activity's baseline start and finish dates.  The Schedule% Complete indicates how much of the activity duration should be currently completed.

once again you are mixing apples and oranges this has NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do with costs

Adab,

To find out how schedule % complete is calculated, show the Schedule % complete value in the columns area, and then under the "view" main menu option in the Windows client, select "hint help".

Now when you hover over any column heading, it will display how the column is calculated....

How the schedule% is calculated for the activities without any cost.

If you assign a baseline to the project, the schedule % may show 100% to an activity , due to the delay of that activity.

Zoltan,

I believe it also depends on the time frame.

It will ALWAYS be calculated as (BCWS• 100) / BAC

(budgeted cost for work scheduled times 100) divided by Budget at Completion

if you do not have cost in your schedule then 0 divided by anything is 0

Is any  budgeted units assigned to the activities?
