Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

deadline column

i am able to put in a date value to deadline column but it does not seem to affect any floats or finsih dates. how does this deadline colmun work?

i did not create it myself. i am using 8.4 version of p6. it was a standard column. can anybody help?

the forward and backward passes  along with the calendar, logic, durations and constraints determine the dates. There is no such thing as a deadline date column unless you created it yourself. It is not a standard column.
