Joros,

I see you are mentioning P6, I believe from within P6 you can use the import/export functions to import MPP/MPX to P6 and then export to either MPP/MPX.

It should be a onetime operation as usually something is lost. But as we say at home, when there is no bread then cookies.

Good luck,
Rafael

Joros,
be aware that MS has stopped maintaining the MPX format since MSP 2000; therefore the content of a MPX file constructed by MppToMPx from a MSP 2007 file could be difficult to understand by P3 MPX import facility.
Sciforma Corp. (PS8, PSNext editor, www.sciforma.com) also has a file converter.
Paul E. Harris suggests to import MPP file via a text file (look at his website)

For a site where you can find several primavera downloads.

http://www.projectstatus.com/

For a direct mpptompx download from above site:

http://www.projectstatus.com/pub/PubFiles/MppToMpx.exe

Good luck,
Rafael

You can download a file called ’mpptompx.exe’ from the Primavera Knowledgebase.

Cheers,

G
