Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

When I use this function in MS Project I get the following error message:

Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel Error #:440
Automation Error
Restart MS Project to restart the COM add-in.

Please, how do I fix it?

James,

Thanks for your reply.

I am using MSP2003 with service pack 2, Export Timescaled Data has never worked. Always the same error message.

Hi Mark,

Has this error only just happened? Was the system working perfectly well previously?

We had a similar problem when we removed and re-installed MSP 2000. The administrators didn’t install all of the modules. As a result our Analyse Timescale.... just failed to work. However, it didn’t actually come-up with the error # 440. It just did nothing at all.

James.
