Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

What is Rubix?

Rubix is an analytical tool that improves project controls professionals’ scheduling efficiency and accuracy.

What scheduling software does Rubix work with?
Rubix works with Primavera P6™. (You can connect directly to a P6™ database or you can import XER files).

What can Rubix do?

Rubix offers five functions:

1.      Comparison– Compares two projects and generates reports based on a range of criteria.

2.     Assessment– Lists problems with a schedule’s logic.

3.     Compliance– Checks schedule’s compliance with the VA and UFGS specifications, and more specifications coming soon.

4.     Compatibility– Determines if a schedule is suitable to be converted into any of the five most widely used scheduling software formats (SDEF™, P3™, SureTrak™, Microsoft Project™ and Primavera Contractor™).

5.     Utilities– Provides many of the Oracle Primavera™ tools you wished they provided, such as: POBS cleanup for multiple XERs, XER version change, global data check, database optimizing for speed, and more.

Rubix’s Reporting

Rubix provides reports in two formats:

(i)     An Excel format enables intuitive analysis, with the report individually broken up into separate sheets based on criteria, (similar to the old Claim Digger 3.0™, and,

(ii)    A Html format enables quick scroll through and printing functionality.
