Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Andrews

In a Lump sum contract among the Bill of Quantity there is a section of BOQ namely " Preliminaries ".In this section the contractor furnished some items and put some amount respectively for each items. In FIDIC these items are under " Method related charges ".As this section of BoQ contains some item of bill namely Supply of Survey equipment,Attendance to consultant staff office ( unskilled labour provided for consultant office )and the contractor is not provided fully the same as furnished in the contract specification, Is the Client has the power to make a variation for the items which the contractor not provided;Eventhough these Item of BoQ are under preliminary which lies under Method related Charges.
