Required Document and Information to start a project Schedule as a Planning Engineer

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well and doing great.

I am trying to develop a Basic Standard Procedure that can be used to start developing a schedule as a Junior Planner and to the best of my knowledge, there is no written rules on this. So I thought where else to get the information other than this platform that is full with great minds with vast knowledge and experience in this field. My scenerio is as stated below

If you are appointed to develop a project schedule programme for a new project,

1. What are the documents you will request for to get you started? And

2. What are the information you will be looking for in those document?

Please feel free to direct me to where I can find this information, and your opinion is of high importance.

Thank you all for your response in advance.

Best Regards

Adeola
