During my time with Aramco, I was seconded into the Community & Industrial Facilities Division.  I was site planning engineer for the construction of the Mubarraz Industrial Training Centre,the air conditioning to the centre which was a dedicated chiller plant and cooling tower constructed as part of the overall project.  My responsibilities continues on to the Mubarraz Area Maintenance Training Centre on the adjacent site, and two additional centres being constructed simultaneously by the Korean contractor in Abqaiq and Udhailiyah., I then moved on to plan the construction of

This project is one of the largest civil engineering projects undertaken in the world.  The concept is to take potable water from two aquifer fields in Tazerbo and Sarir, 1000km south of Ajdabiya, via a 4.3m diameter concrete pipeline from each to firstly a mixing reservoir in Ajdabiya, and from there by two separate lines, one to Benghazi and the other along the coastal plain to Sirte.  The 4.3m diameter pipeline was manufactured in 4.5m length sections, in two strategically placed plants constructed for the purpose, and shipped along dedicated haul roads constructed and maintain

Subsea Planning Engineer, Shell Exploration & Production, Osprey Project

Responsible for the control of the programmes generated by the Subsea Mechanical, Umbilical and Controls contractors for the Osprey Project. The field was being produced by means of two subsea linear block manifolds fed by 6 individual production well-heads, serviced by 5 water injection well-heads controlled remotely via a single armour coated 7km umbilical containing 11 fluid and 4 quad electrical cores.
